The PGBI grEEEn seminar titled “It’s Fun in a Green Boracay” was held last May 2, 2013 at the Pink Patio Function Hall, Boracay. Karuna Boracay Residences, the project going through the grEEEn rating system, with its president Mr. Jorge Perez de Tagle, spearheaded the event. The seminar was attended by hotel and resort owners and representatives from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the local government of Aklan. The event was meant to bring forth awareness on climate change and green buildings. It was also a venue to help promote sustainability on a unified front, including the various stakeholders and the local government.
